What is a fun fact about myself?
I love most types of music and can often be found driving around with my windows down and my music way up.
What can you expect as my client?
As my client, you can expect to be met with safety, consistency, and a non-judgmental space. I believe that the relationship between the therapist and client is the most important part of therapy. It is my goal to build a relationship with you where you feel supported, heard, and safe to do the important work you’ve come to therapy to do. I will be here to listen to you, help you identify your strengths, support your life, and work toward goals that we will set together.
Who am I outside of therapy?
I’m a single mom to an 8-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy who are my whole world. We love to go on weekend adventures hiking, driving to a new city and exploring, or spending time at the beach. Outside of therapy, my goal is to be the best mother I can be and put as many miles as I can on my running shoes.
How did I become a therapist?
My road to becoming a therapist has been a long one. I’ve always had an interest in helping people, but life got in the way for a while. When the pandemic shut the world down, I decided to go back to school and pursue my lifelong dream of helping people.
I earned my Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky in 2025.
I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology degree from Washington State University in 2022.
I spent 4 months working in Child Protective Services and 8 months working on the NAMI helpline, where I worked with people experiencing many life challenges. I am passionate about helping people who have experienced trauma, including childhood trauma.
I am interested in working with those who are looking to make a change in their life, no matter how big or small. I am drawn to working with those who have experienced trauma, whether it’s childhood, relational, or generational trauma. I am interested in working with children, families, and couples, as well as individuals looking to make changes or just gain a deeper understanding of their lives.
