What is my role at True Heart Therapy?
I am one of the Intake Specialists and interact with potential clients who are looking to start therapy.
What is a fun fact about myself?
I am the third generation in my family to roller skate at Oaks Park. I had skates on my feet as soon as I could walk and have continued the tradition with my own children.
What can you expect when interacting with me?
I will meet you with genuine interest and compassion while striving to fully understand how to best guide you as you begin your journey with True Heart Therapy.
Who am I outside of work?
I am a wife, a mother of two daughters, and their primary teacher. I love spending time on our rural property; gardening, appreciating native plants and soaking up nature, Shinrin-yoku style. We enjoy exploring nature one road trip or camping adventure at a time with our Great Dane, Hildegard von Itzel. I have a tendency to raise my hand for volunteering in my community and organizations interwoven with our lives.
I have a Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Architecture from PSU. After my career in Architecture, I explored other career paths for work life balance. I was the Live Scan Coordinator with Oregon State Police and served multiple terms as a city councilor and on the board of a Downtown Improvement Group.
On each job path I’ve experienced, there was a common pattern of having a passion and sense of fulfillment from helping people navigate systems and processes.
I enjoy getting to communicate with clients and get you connected with a clinician. I strongly believe in the mission of True Heart Therapy and the approach and commitment to collaborating with you on your journey of healing, growth, and connection.
