Hi, it's nice to meet you!

I'm Izzy Biehl, and I'm glad you're here.

What is a fun fact about myself?

I lived on the Big Island of Hawaii during many of my formative years, from middle school through high school, which deeply shaped my love for nature, community, and living in connection.

What can you expect as my client?

You can expect to be welcomed exactly as you are. I strive to offer warmth, compassion, and honest guidance as we gently sort through life’s layers together. My hope is to create a space of safety where you can connect with your inner wisdom and move toward a life that feels aligned with your truest self.

Who am I outside of therapy?

I’m a goofy, quirky person who loves being outdoors. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy biking, hiking, skiing, cooking, and spending time with animals. I’m a big lover of all creatures.

How did I become a therapist?

In my mid-twenties, after experiencing a death in my family, I went through a profound period of depression. For a longtime, I pushed away my sadness because I didn’t know how to deal with it. Eventually, I reached out to a therapist who helped me discover the love held within grief. That experience transformed my perspective and inspired me to help others find their way through pain, adversity, and healing.

Ideal Clients

I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy (MCFT) at Lewis & Clark College.

My background includes training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems, Satir, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Structural Family Therapy, all of which inform my collaborative and compassionate approach.

My experience is grounded in relational and strengths-based approaches, with a passion for supporting individuals, couples, and families in deepening connection, navigating life transitions, and fostering healing and growth.

I feel especially drawn to working with individuals, couples, and families seeking deeper connection, healing, and greater congruence in their lives and relationships. My ideal clients may be navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, grief, life transitions, identity exploration, or patterns that no longer serve them, and are open to curiosity, growth, and meaningful change.
